Competitor figures are quoted from iTranslator's pricing page and its documentation, and from HephBot Translate's premium docs and command reference — all checked on 5 August 2026. "Not in its command reference" means the feature appears nowhere in that product's complete published command list; it is not a claim that the feature cannot exist. Prices are shown including VAT so they are comparable: our own prices include it, and iTranslator lists ex-VAT figures on its pricing page (its VAT-inclusive equivalents appear on its home page), so both are given. HephBot prices are in US dollars exactly as it lists them.
Where each one is the right answer
Pick HephBot if…
You want uncapped free text translation in servers where you can install it, do not mind a self-hosted engine, and are happy bringing your own Groq or OpenAI key for the AI tiers.
Pick iTranslator if…
You want the largest install base, do not mind voting to reset your characters, and need many auto-translate channels — its free tier allows 30 of them.
Pick Low's Translator if…
You want commercial-engine quality on the free tier, or you need voice, images, and DMs rather than text in one server.
Questions
Is this comparison impartial?
It is published by Low's Translator, so read it accordingly. What we can promise is that every figure about another product is quoted from that product's own site or documentation and dated, and that where a competitor does not publish a number we say "not published" rather than guessing.
Why do some cells say "not in its command reference"?
Because that product publishes a complete list of its commands and the feature is not in it. That is evidence, not proof - a feature could exist and be undocumented - so we word it as what we can actually verify rather than claiming the product cannot do it. We only use primary sources, because third-party roundups routinely contradict the vendors: several put iTranslator's free tier at 30,000 characters, while iTranslator's own documentation says 10,000 per server and 2,000 per user.
Can I use more than one translator bot?
Yes. They do not conflict, and running two is a reasonable way to compare quality on your own server's messages before committing.
How often is this page updated?
Competitor figures were last checked on 5 August 2026. Pricing and limits change, so check the linked documentation if a number matters to your decision.
